Looking around, I found myself on a dusty island in the middle of the sea. I was facing a odd looking stone structure. Turning around, I found a stairway leading down into a rock arch. I followed the path until I came to a big archway dug into the side of a rock face. Intrigued, I followed the path deeper and deeper into the rock. Almost right away, I noticed a set of pages on the ground. After picking them up and looking at them, I noticed that they were about plants, and since there were no plants here, I decided to look at them later.

Continuing forward, I found a metal door with a large handle. I tried to open it, but it was locked. Turning back around, I noticed a path to the left I hadn't seen before. Following it into the darkness I soon came to a room with a strange sign to the left showing five different areas. Not having any idea of what this was, I went up a ladder to left of the entrance to the room.

Climbing up, I found that I had entered a small tower overlooking a huge dam. There was an important looking red knob on a panel in front of me, so I turned it and watched as a big wooden door slid to the right side of the dam switching the water flow. I went back down the ladder and walked down a passage over the water that continued on after the room with the strange sign in it. Coming out of the tunnel, I noticed a ladder leading down to my right.

Going in, I found a large metal door with a red circle in the middle. I pushed the circle and the door parted revealing a metal pillar in the center of a room. Looking closer to the left, I found a small crank. Turning it caused the pillar to rise to the ceiling. Seeing nothing else to do, I went back up the ladder.

To my right there was a big circular door made of metal. It wouldn't open, so I walked back down the tunnel over the water. On my way back, I noticed that there was a broken window in the right side. Looking closer, I saw many metal blades. I pushed one and they all flipped out. Then the whole piece started turning, and it hit me that this was a small hydroelectric generator.

Looking back at the circular door, I noticed a bright green light on the center. I walked forward and pulled a small lever on it. Suddenly, the four metal side bars on the door came in, the entire piece turned, and went down revealing a ladder. Going down the ladder, I found myself in a small room. Turning to my right, I noticed a passage. Following it took me to a large room with a gigantic metal object in the center. I noticed a small crack in the device, and by looking closer at it I saw three sets of metal contacts and six buttons, three on each side of the contacts. Also on the bottom an top there were contacts that were separate from the three tracks. Pushing on a button moved the corresponding track of contacts one move to the direction of the button.

I decided to move all the contacts so that the top and bottom contacts were connected with each other. Right as I finished this, the crack closed and electricity started flowing in the device. Going back up through the passage, I noticed a small device next to the ladder I hadn't paid any attention to before. I pushed the button on the bottom and watched as Saaverdo's face appeared. It talked about how Sirrus and Achenar had destroyed his life. After that was over, I went back up the ladder and through the generator. In the room with the ladder to the tower, I looked at the sign I had noticed before. It had five pictures with four of them lighted up. I continued back down the passage, and back to were the arch was. I followed the path to the right and after much walking, I found a ladder going down. Following this route, I found that I was behind a huge dome turned on its side. In the center of the chamber, there was a contraption on a wire line. It had a balloon, but it wasn't inflated. Continuing walking, I came to a ladder. On the top I found more pages and a metal ball with a hand grip. Pulling on this created a passage to a platform over the dome.

Going through, I found that that I could cross to the other side of the canyon by walking over a larger pipe. Once on the other side, I noticed a grate on a pipe extending out from the wall. Flipping the latch, I found that I could crawl inside. It was dark, but after a few meters a grate opened up below me. Opening it, I found that I was on the other side of the locked door I had found before. Also in the room, there was a device with one lever on it. I tried pushing it up, and suddenly in the window in front of me I saw a gear turn and a platform lower. I went down a ladder right next to the device and opened the door at the bottom.

I found that I was standing at the bottom of a platform with another device similar to the one in the room above me. The only difference was that it didn't have a bolt blocking the middle track for the lever. I moved the lever left, then down, then right again, and finally down. After doing this, A handle appeared in the metal gear piece in front of me. I turned it and heard a small hissing. I went back to the small device and moved the lever up, then left, then up again. With this done, I went back up the ladder and again to the device. I pushed the lever up and went back through the grating I had originally entered through.

Outside, I walked back across the large pipe to the chamber with the balloon in it. As I stepped inside, I heard a loud hissing. Looking down I noticed steam coming out of the valves below me. I went down the ladder and to the four valves. I decided to try closing the three open knobs. Doing so made a needle on a meter in front of me turn. I looked to my left and saw a lever. I decided that it couldn't hurt to try pulling it, so I moved it to my far right. Almost instantly, the platform I was on moved up. The four valves were also all open. I closed three of the valves, and this time instead of moving the needle ten clicks, it only moved four.

It then struck me that maybe you had to get the needle to a dashed red line on the meter. I moved the lever on my left again, and rose another level. All the valves were open again, I closed one valve and noticed that If I opened one valve on the level below this one, then three on the lowest level, I could get the needle right on the line. After carrying this out, nothing had happened. I went back to the ladder to see if I had missed something. I had, a large red valve had eluded me. Turning it, I suddenly heard air rushing, I turned and saw the balloon inflate. The whole device slowly moved towards the dome, and then was stopped by it. I went back up to were I had originally entered this room from, and noticed that I hadn't explored one path off to the left. Taking this rout, I found a small elevator. I pushed the lever and was lowered to a platform about twenty feet below the one I had been on. I walked along the platform and came to a single lever. I decided that it couldn't hurt to pull it, so I did. The dome slowly opened, and the balloon slowly moved out. As it passed the platform I was on, it stopped. It looked like a fun ride, so I got on and pulled the only lever in the device. The balloon slowly moved through the canyon giving a spectacular aerial view. The balloon then passed over the dam and towards the stone structure I had linked to when I had gotten to this world.

When it reached a platform over the water, it stopped. I looked over at the platform and noticed that it had a lever on it. I got out and switched the lever. The platform rotated causing an electrical connection to be made with the wire the balloon was on and another wire leading to the island. Suddenly, the small island with the stone building cracked around the base. The entire section of land began to slowly rise up. I knew that this was where I would find the symbol for this age. I got back in the balloon, and headed up to the island in the sky.

Once at the top, I got out and opened the door, now with a bright green light on it. Inside I found a small room with a ladder leading down. Going down brought me to a door facing downward with a valve attached to it. I turned the valve and the door swung open revealing a pattern of rocks hovering above the ground. I carefully noted the design on a piece of paper. Looking back up, I noticed a small door in the wall of the chamber. I opened it, and a linking book back to J'nanin slid out. I opened it, and placed my hand on the page...
