I awaken from the strange and mezmorizing link. I blink, yes, now I look around. This strange world, what is it exactly? That is the question that is ringing in my mind. All around me, it...it smells like..mold...no...more like bark. The dusty yet moldy smell definetaly meant this was a tree. But what a big tree at that! And...it looks although I am far up in the tree. The sea must be at least 200 feet below me!! The sky was bright and the sound of distant birds made me feel as though I was really lost. I walked down the path and came to an interesting plant, it meandered and twisted high into the air. The question was...could I possibly get up it?
Ok, here goes nothing. I climbed up onto the plant, suddenly the whole plant started moving!! It started lifting me up, almost like an escalator! Higher and higher I went, until finally I was thrown up onto another level in the tree. I was dumbfounded. I looked around, sort of a steep ledge, but it was mezmorizing! The sun shining, the birds chirping...the birds! This is where I must of heard them chirping from! I went over closer. I giant bird was feeding her young! Amazing! It was so large! Well, I didnt want to waste anymore time. I continued my great walk to the top. The twisting roots and dead bark really terrified me, just imagining falling down from such heights really freaked me out. I finally came to something that caught my eye! Yes, it was a large vine plant, and..and...something behind it.. I went over the the large vines. In the middle of them seemed to be growing...shall I say, a large pompous button. Although it seemed that way. I touched it, immedietely it collapessed the plant! Oh no! Did I kill it? Well, I didnt have time to worry about that. Behind it was a large flower. It seemed like a...shiny flower. Looking at it more closely revealed a transparent film in the middle of it.
I peered through and saw right through it! I could even move it slightly, and..it seemed although some sort of heat was coming from the plant. A small ray of light was being reflected from the plant. Aha! Now I understood. The plant must have a reflective film of some sort that makes it focus sunlight! I continued to peer through. I moved to the left a little. I saw a large bulb of some sort. I unknowingly let the light sit on the bulb for a couple seconds. In no time at all it burst into explosion and water burst out of it! Wow! By carefully observing more I saw that another vine was absorbing this water. Causing it to flourish instantly! This was another vine like the one I used to get up to this level! Now it was flourished! Now it was just the fact of finding it! I backtracked and finally found the vine in full bloom! I readied myself and climbed onto it. It now carried me down.
It was about 30 seconds later that I finally landed at the bottom of a dark pit. Although it seemed that way. I walked down the winding trail of bark. It was so impressive, the small glowing mushrooms, the moss. So beautiful! It made me feel one with nature! I carried on down the path apon coming to the strangest site! I saw a large rooted cage, inside of it...was a manta-ray!? What on earth would a manta-ray be doing in such a place? It was swimming in a shallow water. Hmmm, I wonder..it seemed that it glowed somewhat. Interesting. I went down further. It grew darker and darker. My breathing seemed heavy, all these plants everywhere just gets to your allergies after a while! I came to a bridge. Ok, it wasnt a bridge, but it sure could be used as one. It was a fallen log, A dark pit beneath. And another interesting thing caught my eye! A dome? No...I had to get closer. I walked around this large bark structure of some sort. I came to more than I was expecting to see. A rolled up leaf? Now this wasnt just a small thing, it was large! Very thick! Above it I saw a vine hanging from a wrapped up plant. Hmmm, should I pull it? Cant hurt.
I pulled the vine, and to my amazement the plant unfolded and shone a bright light! Then it seemed like the rolled up plant had a reaction or something, it rolled out to form...to form a bridge. Are these plant sensitive to light then?! I walked right onto the plant, observing around me and...above me! Right above me there was a swing! At least it looked like one. I grabbed hold and swung right over to the platform where the dome was. Now seeing it more closely I realized it was none other than a trap. I tried it out. I went over to a pulley mechanism, and started cranking up the trap that was attached to this chain. Hmm, what was I to catch? I walked over and accidentally bumbed a bush causing a berry to fall right under the trap. Hmm, maybe this could be used as a lure. I went down back through to the leaf bridge to watch. Wow! A small tiny animal raced right over! Amazing! I saw beside me that there was indeed a switch. I yanked it. The trap came down but the little guy was too fast for me! He ran right up onto the log screaming! Now I saw it coming! Right underneath the plant there lay those big fat berries. The kind that grow to sound. Well, they grew so fast and so strong it cracked the log right in half and it went flying into the darkness below! No!! Now I was trapped here forever! But wait. I remembered the swing.
I grabbed hold and swung to another ledge. Yes, good thinking! Now I was on another ledge, and yet...another folded up plant. I saw yet another vine and I pulled it. Now I was getting the hang of things. The plant opened up and shone beautifully. The rolled plant streched out to form a bridge. A substitute for the one that had cracked in half! Well, I could come back here later. For now, I needed to explore further. I carried on down the long and dark path into this wilderness. Now I came across a strange plant. This one looked rather evil. It had a spicked mouth, but what harm could a plant do? I pushed on the strange mouth. It wasnt sharp, simply rubbery. Suddenly the plant started filling with water!! Then none other then our frined the manta ray came flopping into the plant!! The plant now bubble-like and bloated was clearely transparent and the manta was now swimming in it!! Now it made sense. This plant must work as a pump of some sort, it brought all the water from that pool to this plant including the manta!
Poor thing. I had a feeling this wasnt going to be the last time that I was going to see him. I contiunued again down the path, going deeper and deeper into the strange and large tree. Was I getting close to the pit? I would soon find out. I heard some rustling in the forest below. Uh oh...what could it be? I neared it and saw that there was in fact a bird trapped in the plant! Poor thing! How did it ever get stuck in such a situation!? It was the same bird that was feeding its young back up on top of the tree!!! How was it going to get out!? I couldnt help it, I was too weak compared to the large plant! I would have to come back later. I carried on down the path. Finally a clearing! Wow. I looked around. The first thing I noticed was another spike plant. I again pushed the spikey mouth of it and again it sucked in some water and the manata!!! Hello again friend!! Haha. Wow, this guy sure has been through a lot today! I carried down the path and came across some large plants! three of them to be correct. I identified them as more of those reflecting plants! I went to the one at the end of the path, I looked through its centre reflective film, and again, it had the beam of light. I scanned around with it for a bit. When I suddenly had a great idea! What if I beemed the light from this plant on to one of the others, to get a better look! I did so, and it worked fine! Now I see! This works like the telescopes in Jnanan!!! I walked to the other plant and again peered through the strange transparent film. I soon discovered a rolled up leaf. The light sensitive kind! I shone the light right to it, and as I expected, it rolled right out to form a bridge!
Well, from what I could see. But how do I get down to it? I went back up the trail and right near some prickle bushes I found a trail leading down into darkness. I went down and admired the astonishing beauty of the glowing plants. It made me feel in unity with this world! I finally came to the bridge! My idea worked! I walked across, and then I looked up and saw a giant log winding about 40 feet up into the air. This was going to be one long climb! I started crawling up the log, grasping the fungus and was helped guided by the glowing fungus. I knew this was going to get tough from here.
Was I ever right. Haha...I wandered up the log, and I finally got to the top. I walked along the bark walkway. Exhausted, I sat, admiring all I had been through already. Will I ever solve this age? Its so natural, so why is it so complicated? Thats the question I now ask myself. I walked along, and came to the end of the path. Now I saw another reflective plant!! Wow! There were sure a lot of these! There wasnt much more...all I noticed through this plant was the manta swimming in the plant. It was clearly visible from here, looking through the transparent film. Hmmm, I wonder...I started to walk back. I went back into the log, but wait! On the right side of the twisting bark there was another log tunnel going around. I went into it. Around it went. I came out into total darkness and moss. It was much more damp here. I was obviously much closer to the sea, I could make out the sound of water. But was that sound of the sea? No...I carried on down the path, now it blended into another log kind of bridge that sat right on the surface of the water. The sight I saw next was both terrifying and amazing. It was a giant enourmous onion-plant! Just the sight of it made me shiver...what was it exactly!? It sat in the middle of this desolate swamp full of parisitic flies and moss. The smell was even more terrifying. I walked on still wondering what exactly this thing was! I found another path...and this one led to another onion plant! What were they!? This was surely insane! Now I just had an idea, what if these plants too were light sensitive? It was worth a try. One of the plants was already half open, maybe I could cause it to close...but what would that acomplish!? At this point I was willing to try anything! I went back up the trail. On the way there I had another idea. I just thought about that Manta! Was the plant it was incased in also light sensitive?! Just like the one that popped when I first got to this island? I raced back to the light reflectors in the great clearing.
I tried a couple positions trying to get them to point to the manta. But to no avail, I couldnt get one to point that far over. Then I just remebered! The other reflector that was up the long log! I positioned the relectors so they pointed to the light reflector at the top of the log. Then I raced to the top of the log and turned the plant to the manta. I went back to the plant with the manta in it. When I got there, the sun beam was taking its effect. The plant burst open and the manta came flying out into a bowl kind of pit. It went crazy! It went up to one of the vines. Uh oh!? What was it doing!? I suddenly relized it was electrocuting the vines. Then I relized something! In went back up the trail to where the trapped bird was. Aha! It was an interconnected line of vines that coincidentally connected to the plant that was trpping the bird! Now it was free!! The plant was crisped. Now was time for my theory about the light sensitive onion plants to take place. I searched for a way to block the light to the giant plant.
I found a path I had never been up before! I went up and yes!!!!! I found non other than large vines that lay on the ground. Would pressing the large pussed button in the middle of them do the opposite and cause the plant to grow up?! I tried it, and it worked! I went back to the giant mushroom plant. It was true! It was now folded up! So it was light sensitive. But what now!? Near the plant I noticed those damn insects that I saw before. They were seeming to bug the plant...I went up to the giant thing, hopping upon some rocks that lay in the shallow water. Hmm, some Mini onion plants...interesting. I pushed one. Spores and fumes came out. What did this mean?
Would it do the same if I pushed hard enough on the giant onion plant!? I squeezed it and giant spores and fumes came bubbling out. It was like a reppelant! Haha! The biggest mystery was what actually lay within the plant! Ha, I didnt really want to go in the plant. But, I was interested to see what was in the plant. But how would one go about getting IN one of these!? Oh well, I decided to check on the other plant. I went along the trail and finally came to it. Dark..geeze. I then noticed something...a large tube, ok, it was a large large vine. It seemed although it seamed into the swamp, underneathe the water. Aha! In the tube, there was a hole. What was I thinking!? I was actually excited to go in the plant!!! Well, I guess this was the only way to find out. I crawed in the hole. Eww. The whole insides of this tube were very reflective and VERY mucusy. Very stickey. Gross. I crawed along...and came to the tube turning up. Aha! This must lead to the very heart of the plant. I crawed up.
Wow, it was a large maze of intricate vanes and vines and strange parts that I had no idea what they're purpose was. One particular node interested me...it seemed to be a central psrt of the plant! So what would happen if I yanked it? Only one way to find out. I yanked it. Holy! The whole plant started moving!! Suddenly a bird came and swiped me up! The whole thing was so quick I hardly had a chance to relize what happened!!! Before I knew it I was like...100 feet above the whole blooming tree itself!! I was caught in the birds claws. Suddenly I thought I knew what was going to happen. I was going to be fed to the baby birds. No...for the bird was not heading that way! Instead, right to the tippy top of the tree, I was released onto a hard platform. Ok, it was more bark, but what a great view! The bird flew off, and I walked down the path. I came to a Jnanan linking book, AND a symbol! What a great reward! Sweet! I grabbed the symbol and said goodbye to the age. Although some how missing it, I was glad I never had to come back again. I placed my hand on the link...
