This is a walkthrough, not a review, so description of this wonderful place is unwarranted here. Nevertheless I say to you, look at everything. Walk everywhere. Smell the pine forests and feel the cool breeze. This is a 3D environment. Play like you are really there.

Though some scenes place you atop high cliffs and near dangerous instruments, you cannot be hurt. You will never have to go back to a saved game because you suffered a terrible accident. Though some worlds follow a logical order, you won't be forced to load a previous game because you've done puzzles out of sequence. These facts should take some pressure off you, so sit back and submerge yourself in the worlds of Myst.
I've laid out this walkthrough in the order that I myself played the game. This in no way means that you must follow this same order. As I've said before, puzzles cannot be done out of sequence. It doesn't matter what Age you go to first. Each game can be unique to each player.
There is a way to finish Myst without visiting any of the ages. If you so choose, you can skip to Finale and receive instruction there for a quick completion. I do not recommend this. You've purchased the game, don't waste your money.

Finally, try to solve this game yourself first. Refer to this only if you've become so frustrated that you're about to do something rash. You'll thank me in the long run.

So then, let us begin.
